Bray Wyatt attacked Randy Orton in a bizarre way and viewers were treated to more than one John Cena in Tuesday night's action
AJ Styles and Shane McMahon's rivalry got turned up to 11 and The Miz and Maryse got stuck into John Cena and Nikki Bella via our funnybones.
Another Wrestlemania 33 clash, Randy Orton and Bray Wyatt, was ramped up even further and as a bonus a new Smackdown tag team champion was crowned.
Here are six things you most definitely would have missed if you didn't see Tuesday night's Smackdown.
McMahon puts Styles through table with top-rope elbow drop
As if this rivalry needed anymore spice, AJ Styles waited for Shane McMahon in carpark to give him what for but had to wait until the Smackdown commissioner called him out in the ring.Styles apologised to McMahon after being accused of cowardly attacks on him, before McMahon launched into Styles.
It all turned into a fairly entertaining affair ahead of their Wrestlemania 33 clash, with the highlight no doubt being McMahon's aerial assault from the top rope putting Styles through a table.
The Usos win SmackDown Tag Team Championship
In a surprise thrill ride The Usos beat Jason Jordan and Chad Gable, aka American Alpha, for the SmackDown Tag Team Championship.There were big moves aplenty with The Usos taking early control and Alpha hitting back in style.
In the end The Usos used the ropes on Jordon's unmentionables to end it all in a manner not worthy of the contest but a rematch is most definitely on the cards now.
The Miz and Maryse spoof Cena and the Bellas
For comic relief and to beef up their animosity for Wrestlemania, The Miz and Maryse did their finest spoof version of Total Bellas.The Miz may be made to pay for his brutal take-off of John Cena when teamed against he and Nikki Bella in Florida.
A sore point will be their jokes about Cena not proposing to Nikki - "I bought you a Diamond... Dallas Page DVD set". Hilarious.
But Maryse's impersonations of both Nikki and Brie Bella stole the show.

Orton blows kiss at Wrestlemania sign
It's fair to say Randy Orton is pumped for his tilt at the WWE Heavyweight Championship against Bray Wyatt at Wrestlemania.He blew a kiss at the sign advertising the main event in April on his way to beating Baron Corbin in their Smackdown showdown and not even the ring steps were safe once they continued outside the ring.
Orton was helped by the arrival of Dean Ambrose as a distraction while he finished off The Lone Wolf with an RKO.
Cena makes light work of Fandango
Never close to a serious match John Cena vs Fandango was all about comic relief, though not as funny as the impersonation of The Cenation Leader.Fandango cuts some early blows dishing out tickets for fashion offenses but after being manhandled was ultimately ended by submission.
Orton gets attacked by... sheep (and Wyatt)
Flickering lights can only mean one thing during a backstage interview... that you're about to be attacked by a bunch of guys wearing sheep masks.
No point in dwelling on what they said to each other, but it doesn't need to be said that the rivalry is developing nicely for the 'Ultimate Thrill Ride'.
