The Manchester-born lightweight will fight in front of a home crowd on Saturday as he bids to regain his WBA title
The pair line up against each other in a rematch of their September bout, where Linares scored a unanimous points victory to steal Crolla's WBA World Lightweight title.
But Crolla believes a refreshed attitude will help him achieve revenge in front of a home crowd at Manchester Arena.
Ahead of Saturday's fight, Crolla was put through his paces in a public workout at the National Football Museum.
He said:"I've had to be a little bit selfish and miss out on a few things, like training kids at the old amateur club.
"But I certainly feel the benefits of being locked away a bit more this camp.
"My speed's improved, my variation of shots has improved.
"I just think I'm a bit more clever in the ring."

"He's a sharp counter-puncher with power in either hand, so I've got to fight using my head and not just my heart.
