Canada national team take tour of Edinburgh ahead of friendly against Scotland

A number of Scottish-based players will face Gordon Strachan's men at Easter Road in front of a small crowd.

Scotland play Canada at Easter Road in an international friendly tonight and the visitors went sightseeing in Edinburgh before the match.
The North American outfit include a number of Scottish-based players in the likes of Falkirk duo Luca Gasparotto and Fraser Aird as well as Dundee striker Marcus Haber.

Former Falkirk midfielder Scott Arfield is also included, with the Livingston-born midfielder choosing Canada after he was repeatedly ignored by the Scotland set-up.
Arfield's dad was born in Canada but the midfielder played for Scotland U19's, U21's and B team earlier in his career, and joined his teammates for a trip to Edinburgh Castle and the city's Royal Mile.
Tonight's match is set to be the lowest attended match since 1902 when just 5,284 turned up for a match against Wales at Cappielow.
