Schoolgirl, 15, only discovered she had been 'sexually assaulted' when she saw video of 'attack' on social media

The teenager fell asleep at a house party in Sydney, Australia, and was allegedly attacked by a fellow 15-year-old pupil while another 'filmed it and circulated the footage'

A 15-year-old schoolgirl who passed out at a party found out she was 'sexually assaulted' when she saw video footage posted on social media.
The teenage student - who attends a private school in Sydney - was allegedly attacked by a fellow pupil while his friend recorded the alleged incident, according to The Daily Telegraph in Australia.
The girl, who cannot be named for legal reasons, is said to have fallen asleep at a house party and had no idea the alleged assault had taken place until she saw the footage online herself.
The New York Post reports that the alleged attacker, who cannot be named for legal reasons, is a 15-years-old schoolboy.
Teachers at their school are said to have discovered what happened after overhearing schoolyard 'chatter' about the film allegedly being circulated to around 50 other teenagers.
They immediately called in police - who are reported to have found footage on a mobile phone seized from a 15-year-old boy.

The Telegraph further reports that the teenage boy, who also cannot be named for legal reasons, has since pleaded not guilty to charges of filming a young person committing a sexual act on another young person without their consent, producing child abuse material on his mobile phone and distributing that material on social media.
He has also agreed to conditions to not approach the alleged victim or go near her school.

Magistrate Jeffrey Hogg told the teenager that he was not to “approach, threaten, stalk, harass or intimidate the alleged victim or damage any of her property.”
MailOnline reports that the alleged attacker - who the Telegraph says is no longer a student at the school - is expected to meet with police officers to be interviewed later today.
A spokesman for the school said: "Our priority is the safety and wellbeing of students."
