Dave King will make a whistlestop visit to Scotland today for his first meeting with Pedro Caixinh .
The Rangers chairman will discuss forward planning and the club’s summer recruitment drive at a dinner with the new Ibrox boss.
Caixinha is expected to outline his first thoughts on the squad he has inherited from Mark Warburton and the areas he has already targeted for strengthening.

King and Caixinha will also discuss the shortlist of former Rangers players drawn up to join the backroom staff of the Portuguese coach.

King is expected to return to South Africa tomorrow, with the club’s half year financial results to December 31 also expected soon.
